Mattress(very Firm causes) Back pain? What should I do?
I got a new mattress to help with my upper back pain and it was pretty good for 1.5 weeks, then in the last few days my upper back pain has continually gotten worse. I wake up and my back aches and is incredibly tight. I have two options. Replace the mattress with something more plush($150) or get a really think mattress pad like memory foam. Both will around the same price, with the pad slightly cheaper.

- Back pain is caused by pinched muscles. To unpinch them do this. While sitting take one hand and go up over the other shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine. Press into it with a moderate pressure. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don't tense up any part of your body. After 30 seconds, slowly lower yourself forward and to your other leg. When all the way down release the pressure but hold you body there for one minute. Then do the other side. That should be the cheapest and best option yet.
- Firstly, you should go to see a doctor if you are consistently having back pain. Memory foam pad should make you feel better because as you lie down on the memory foam, the foam contours to your body's curve to support the back in the best anatomical position.
