Is lower back pain related to the kidneys?
I have lower right-hand back pain recently every time I drink or take a pain killer. Is this related to the kidneys? I ask because I overdosed on Tylenol when I was a pre-teen, and it has just recently, over ten years later started to bother me. Thank you.

- Possible, or a kidney stone maybe. Have a doc check you out to be sure.
- Sounds more like a liver issue. It's time to see a doctor regardless of what YA! thinks the problem is. Pain is a symptom of a problem.
- have it checked, ultarsound of kidneys. could jus be ur kidneys working hard with all the medication, sometimes u can feel it. or maybe its a bit more serious. dont get too worried tho, only if the pain severly worsens.
- You don't mention your age, but it's probably worth have a full urological screening. At one point we thought my back pain, because of its location, might be related to a kidney disrder It wasn't but it's just part of the long diagnostic process that eliminates contributory factors. Mine truned out to be a combination of factures of the vertebrae and ribs.
