Back Pain

Anyone experienced back pain or pain in thighs at the start of labour?

I have been experiencing back pain all day. It usually goes away but today it hasnt. I have also in the last hour been experiencing pain in the front of my thighs!!! I will be 5 days overdue tomorrow. Do you think labour may be starting???

1. Yes! the dreaded back pain is indeed the on set of labour. Have a warm bath then go for a little walk to speed things up. Make sure you have everything ready for the hospital. Good luck and let me know how you got on. xx
2. Somebody in my family just had a baby and her back and (entire) legs were in pain for several days before she gave birth. Her legs and face were swollen too. She had an epidural and her legs never stopped hurting during labor. She was fine after the baby was born. Good luck with your new baby!
3. Yes its starting!! I had exactly the same feeling, i had a bad back and felt like someone was pushing down on my back all the time and then my thighs hurt like hell and felt achy and weird. I experienced this with my first soon and went into labour the following morning. Fingers crossed it happens for you and GOOD LUCK!!!
