Upper Back Pain near armpit and shoulder blade?
Last night, I don't remember doing anything specific to agitate my back however I felt an uncomfortable pain near the upper part of my back towards my armpit and has now began to hurt near my shoulder blade and is progressively spreading throughout the rest of my back. It is a tightness and achy feeling with no spasms or burning. If my move around especially my right arm them it hurts more. Any insight on what it might be?

- Pinched muscles or muscles going into spasm would give off pain like that. If it isn't in the muscles then what do you think it could be? Bones would be the only thing left and bones don't have any pain sensors in them. Here is how you can release your back muscles which should rid you of this pain: Back: (do from a sitting position) Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and find the muscles next to your spine and press on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but remain there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
